The Arab Development Society (ADS) in Jericho welcomed a high-level delegation including H.E. Mr. José Javier, the Spanish Ambassador, H.E. Ms. Sarah Poole, Special Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Mr. Hossam Tbeil, Project Manager, and Ms. Hala Barahmeh, Project Coordinator.
The visit focused on reviewing the ongoing water treatment and biogas production project, as well as discussing future prospects for developing the site into a model of circular economy, particularly through smart and innovative solutions for recycling agricultural waste. These efforts aim to generate sustainable economic outputs while promoting environmental preservation.
The delegation was received by ADS Chairman Mr. Fawzi Shaaban, Vice Chairman Mr. Jamal Adeileh, General Director Eng. Omar Basharat, and members of the ADS team. The guests were presented with a comprehensive overview of current activities and future plans designed to foster sustainability and innovation in the agricultural sector.
